it is amazing what having a kid does to you....i mean that in a good way.
Like, i seriously forgot about my bday and really didn't care about it. i did not want anything, which surprisingly dave listened to me and got me a few candles from bath and body and that was it! I think he learned from last year not to go all out...last year i returned everything he got me and put the money into savings. i know, weird right?
dave was out of town until the morning of my bday...and when he got home we just sorta hung out. i went to the gym and then we went driving around looking at different neighborhoods and houses (we are hopefully buying one within a few months..*fingers crossed)..and we then met up with his parents and brother for dinner at CPK..LOVE that place.
of course we took a bunch of pictures with dri! She is just too cute!
After cpk we came back to our place for my mother-in-laws famous chocolate cake!
we had a great time and i had such a great and relaxing bday.
i have to add that daves parents were so sweet and brought dinner to me on sunday while dave was away..they made salmon, and brought a cake and cookies from whole foods. it was such a fun weekend!!!
birthdays, and holidays are just so much better with a little precious smiling baby!!!
