Our first few days in Europe...

AKA: GERMANY

Our trip to Europe was womderful. We are lucky that my sister lives there and helped plan the trip!
We flew to Frankfurt, Germany...then took a train to Bonn where my sister lives. I was a little nervous about this because it was just me and Dave trying to figure out where the heck we were going with all our luggage and no cell phones! We did manage though!
We arrived in the morning so we were able to go out that afternoon and take a much needed walk at a local and gorgeous park...

The next day we went downtown and saw Beethoven's house. It was really cool to see where he lived when he was young and how his talent all began. They also had the coolest pianos and instruments in there but we weren't allowed to take pictures ...so memories will do!

We then picked up my adorable niece from school and surprised her by going to the Haribo store. This was heaven! We were in awe over how many gummy everything they had. I had such a hard time deciding which gummy bears or worms to get! I am still not sure we bought enough! HA HA

Dave thought the coffee/hot choco machine was the coolest thing! My bro-in-law actually got a cup of coffee and said it was the worst he had ever had! Looks can be deceiving!

It was a little rainy out so after the Haribo store we drove up to a castle. It was gorgeous!
There was also a really nice hotel/resort at the top of the mountain that had some really awesome views..

That was pretty much our first few days in Germany...and I totally forgot to get pictures of the pastries we ate! Oh well!!
