Oh ya know...just a typical Monday.

Audriana is not very happy about Frankenstorm! In fact, she is so unhappy about it she wouldn't let us get her dressed for the day!

Photo: I'm not happy about this Frankenstorm... And still being in my pj's at 11am! http://instagr.am/p/RXukPuE9Nf/
ok..who am I kidding..she is only 6 1/2 weeks old!

We honestly were not expecting to spend the day like this. I thought it would be a normal work week. Last year when Irene hit it was not as bad as they said it would be and in my opinion totally overreacted..then again, better safe than sorry.

We are for sure more prepared for situations like this compared to last year. In a way Irene was a reminder to have food storage and water...So we now have plenty of food storage and water.

My mom was suppose to come tonight...I called Delta Saturday thinking her flight may get canceled. Well, when I went on Delta's website they showed that they were rebooking flights for everywhere around us but Philly. So when we FINALLY talked to them (after they purposely transfered us to some spanish line) they switched my moms flight for free...to Sunday.  Of course all night I was stressed about it and thinking it would get canceled and sure enough it did! I was super bummed out as she was too!

After church we called Delta and there was an 8 hr waiting period!!! They called us back almost 10 hours later and rebooked her flight for tomorrow morning! That does not make sense since that will be when the storm is at is worst. So we shall see.

I am just so excited for her to come in! I have been waiting and waiting for her to get here. I feel bad because she took these 2 weeks off with special permission (during this time of year it is blackout and usually can't take off). I hope she makes it sooner than later!!

So, we are still in our pajamas (ok, dave is not - btw, he is awesome with dri) eating all our halloween candy and watching the weather channel.
Doesn't it sound like so much fun!!!

  1. I want to be on the east coast right now. I would give anything to take a few days and just relax in pajamas with my children and watch movies and color and play games. Don't see that happening anytime soon. Audriana is B-E-A-U-tiful Nan!!
