Over the Fourth of July, Dri surprised us and took her first step! Like, I was very much surprised. Well, then nothing for like a week! Then on July 11, Dri just took off! she took maybe 3 - 4 steps earlier that day but then when Dave got home, she decided to show off for him!
She seriously was so proud of herself. She did not want any help either. Every time we tried to hold her hand or help her she would shove us away. Lets just say, she may look just like her dada but she has my personality for the most part. I never want help, I am very determined and into everything.
My mom always told me she could not wait for me to have kids and hoped I would have one just like me. Well, now its a big joke because I do have one just like me!
Anyway, Dri became a pro very shortly. She has tried to run. She climbs on everything and walks super fast to get to where she wants to go.
This video is of dri the next morning. She loves to walk! It is too cute.
