Valentines Day...

I was such a loser and didn't want to do anything on Valentine's Day but the husband talked me into going to dinner. We went to a cute Italian restaurant (surprise)...

Dave went to Dallas on a business trip and Nanette tagged along to visit her sister...

Went out in Dallas...they gave us this bread as an appetizer and we should have had them bring four out from the beginning because we all almost ate a full loaf it was so good..ha ha

 We had a great time and were stuffed!

It was great to see family, 2 sisters at once, and nieces and nephew!

Elyse was cheesing it!

I had to show off Promoman..Dave ended up doing live shots dressed like this on channel 8 morning news in Dallas...

Our friend, Audrey from Canada came to visit..

...we of course went out to eat!

...and yes, I chopped my hair.

We ended the month with a very long but great Sunday that went something like this...

Dave woke up at 5:30, left at 6:15 for P.E.C., Nanette woke up at 7:30, church at 9, Dave spoke in our ward, then in the ward after us, we got home at 12:30, left at 1,went downtown to singles ward, Dave taught lesson in Elders Quorum, Nanette just went along (once again), left at 5 and went to stake center and both spoke at a fireside for single adults at 7, got home at 9:15 and passed out!

February has been such a busy month for us and we have literally not even had time to grocery shop and have been eating oatmeal for dinner!

Let's Go Penn, Exclamation Point!

Let's go Penn, Exclamation Point! We repeated this chant over and over again last night with hopes that after going into 2 OT Penn would have won against Harvard.

It didn't happen.

We left a little bummed out,

BUT...

We had great time in our first trip to the Palestra.

The Palestra is one of the most famous college basketball arenas in the country.

Dave does not like this picture...oh well! It was the best one we had!

Date Night.

Well who would have guessed that getting married turns cool, fun and adventurous people into a bunch of LAME-O'S?  We sure as heck didn't.. Since we have been married (5 months) we rarely go on "dates"...I have become such a homebody and like staying inside and RELAXING.  One of our New Year's resloutions was to go out on more dates..or just go out!

Last Friday came along and I had been stuck in the house all day and on the couch, studying (I actually had to keep rotating the couch cushions because they kept sagging and forming to my buttocks) and with some serious A.D.D. , wanting to get up and jump around and breathe some fresh air...then Dave called and suggested that we go to eat at Chipotle...which I love because I am from Utah and we like Mexican food, then go to Dave and Buster's!  D & B is like a grown up Chuck E. Cheese's and more! I felt like a kid again, although Dave says I act like I am five everyday. We were running around from game to game and had so much fun! We are excited to return and next time we may wear our sneakers so we can run faster and win more tickets!

I hope you are loving my green gum just as much as I did.

I say whopping because I took the kids to D & B today and we got 1600 tickets

Only one off from winning 1000 tickets...It was our favorite game though!

P.S. We made it home just before out curfew of 10:30 pm and made it to bed by 11! Aren't  we so cool?

Dave is Promoman! He went to Orlando for a work conference and they made him dress up as PROMOAN! When I saw this video I literally started crying from laughing so hard! I had no idea that MY husband had some serious dance moves!
