update...

I had another ultrasound about a month ago, this one was so much better and a lot faster. My Dr. reccommend that we get a second opinion and see a different parinatologist. It was honestly a much better experience. He was so quick...like literally didn't even sit down. He took the wand rubbed my stomach and was like meet me in my office after you clean up! We are glad that we asked the ultrasound tech for a few 3D pics before she left...otherwise we wouldn't have gotten any (she was in a weird position anyway so it was hard to get any good pics)!
We were pretty confident going into his office. We were impressed that he even asked us to meet in his office to talk about what exactly was going on with our little girl. He wrote down all the possibilities for us and things he would have done if we had seen him the first time around. Well, the good news is that as of now the echogenic bowel is no longer there! Seriously, this is such a HUGE blessing to us. I cannot tell you how happy we were to hear that. We are going back in another couple weeks just to double check and make sure she is still growing properly and that the echogenic bowel is gone. This perinalogist was so awesome and so glad we found him.
We had a follow up with my OBGYN a few days later. I have to say how much I love my Dr's and respect them so much...they all talked and about my situation and came up with why it happened (why they at least think)..I did have some light spotting in the beginning of my pregnancy and they think that she swallowed some of the blood...This is a little gross and personal to some so I am sorry. I guess the blood can cause the bowel to become lighter than normal.
I had a feeling this was what happened. They told us this could have been why during our first ultrasound but then the whole chicken pox thing happened. I think it is because mother knows best.:)
Dave and I have grown so much during this experience. I can't express how much we love our baby. Even though she keeps me up at night with all the rolling around she has been doing, I just can't get enough of her. Me and Dave have so much fun watching my stomach roll around and look like a wave pool! Just a little over 2 months to go!
