A shower for baby "A"!

I was really blessed to have such an amazing baby shower. I was not really into the idea of having one...I feel uncomfortable in situations like this. I know I like to talk and enjoy having the attention of others...but not this kind of attention! I have a hard time accepting gifts.  I myself like giving gifts! What is my problem!

The entire week of the baby shower I was a nervous wreck. I was so stressed about it. I was extremely anxious going over to Patty's house. When I did arrive my MIL, Brenda Hansen and Patty already had everything ready to go. It looked so great and totally eased my mind. I was just happy to be around such fun and good people!..oh and of course great food! I really wish I had gotten a pic of the food but somehow forgot..let me just say, the food was awesome...my MIL was in charge of that and of course had more than enough!

When I first walked in I saw this....

This was so cute..Patty put some pictures of me and Dave up  of all stages of our life and even us together.

The cake was absolutely beautiful and was seriously the best cake I have ever had! Yes, those are canolis!

Patty did a great job with the decorations...

She knew the colors of our nursery so she of course made them the theme of the shower! I thought it was so cute.

We played some really fun games and had a good time chatting!

It was fun to have a lot of people together to celebrate our little girl! It helped me to get over my issue of feeling dumb when having a "party" for me and realized that just being with friends to celebrate something so special and amazing in life is the best thing!

It could not have been a better day! Thanks again to everyone who came and helped!
