Anniversary!

 

Dave and I celebrated our anniversay this week! I guess with everything going on...i sort of got distracted and really just did no care very much. We wanted to keep it simple this year and just go to dinner. So we went to a hibachi place. We were happy with our choice and had fun. We are so wild these days and even went to Costco after dinner to buy toilet paper and get some frozen yogurt. How cool are we? Seriously though I love Costco.

 

 

the day after our anniversary while i was out on my daily walk, a song came on pandora that was played at our wedding. it made me think of our life together and how much i love dave. my love for him grows more and more everyday. being married has brought me so much happiness. i have grown so much and become a way better person because of him. 

i was raised in a very disfunctional family. that is all i have been used to. dave on the other hand grew up the complete opposite. his parents are very loving and supportive (not saying that mine aren't)...i have had a lot to learn. dave has been supportive and helped change me forever. he has helped me see what happiness marriage really does bring to people and how important family is.

i am so excited to start the next chapter in our lives. knowing that we will be a family soon makes me smile. i am grateful i have dave and that we will continue to grow and celebrate many more anniversaries together and with our family.

i think i was meant to listen to the song on pandora because it really helped me to meditate and think of how wonderful our marriage is and how it will only get better with time!
