The day before we left for Utah we went to take a second look at a house. .. Well we detcided to make an offer. So while in Utah we had a ton of paper work to do because they ACCEPTED it!
We lucked out..
We looked at 64 houses. can you believe it?64!!! Back in March before we officially started the process we drove to a newer development in Pennsburg. Some hick town that I had never heard of. Dave found it and said it was up and coming. It felt so far away and we quickly decided against it...
so..we started looking at houses near Daves job and in the same area where we lived. The houses were expensive with high property taxes and were out dated. We are not handy so we did not want to go into a house with work to do. We did however, find a foreclosure near Dave's parents house that would have kept us in our ward and did not need any work done to it.. we liked it and made an offer. I was dead set on that house. Well, the bank took forever and kept accepting more offers and they ended up declining ours. Now, we realize that was not the right house for us at all. What a blessing.
So Dave kept looking and looking for the perfect house for us and he randomly looked back in Pennsburg.. and what do you know? He found that there were 2 houses for sale. That is actually good because people are building here so its rare to find one for sale yet cheaper!
We looked at both... but liked the one better. so there ya go. we made an offer they accepted. it is also estimated to be worth 50 grand more than what we paid for it. We really got a steal.
WE are all moved in now and we LOVE it here. I can't believe it. It takes dave the same amount of time to get to work as it did before. It takes me maybe 5-10 minutes more to get to my job.. but the gym is closer and way nicer oh and can you believe its so nice that we put dri in the daycare at the gym? we have a walmart and a grocery store within 5 minutes ( closer than before) and target and other shopping is just 10 minutes away..
We feel so blessed and Thank Heavenly Father for helping us with this process. We couldn't be happier.
